CAMARO6 - View Single Post - WD-40 on Shift Knob Good Idea?

I have an A8 and I've noticed recently that the trigger on my shift knob is getting squeaky. It's happening often enough to become annoying now. I was thinking of maybe spraying a light mist of WD-40 behind the trigger to quiet it down. Is this a good idea?
