I live in Oregon. There is no law change here to allow self serve. And none is being discussed. And I saw someone say it's a union thing, nope. No unions for those workers. But in my opinion, it's a good thing. Gives a a lot of good starter job for the young workers coming up.
It's funny seeing California drivers though as they are used to pumping their own & the station attendants freak out on them "Noooo!, It's against the law!"
I have experienced a partial fill on a couple of occasions, but mainly all is fine. I also think it's the nozzle & not the car design.
