If you want the GM OEM track warranty coverage the 1LE cars have to remain bone OEM stock other than expendables like tires, brake pads and fluids (provided they meet GM specs). You can get away with wheels and such but when it comes to the drivetrain I asked him about CAI kits and catback kits and he said if you want the track coverage leave it stock.
Now as far as the drivetrain warranty you are fine to run a CAI and catback out on the road on a daily driver, this only relates to those who are taking their 1LE cars and using them on the track on track events and wanting to be covered under the GM track use warranty coverage. GM is the only automaker who is even offering this type of coverage in writing, and there has already been 1 1LE owner who had to use with a total engine loss at the track.
