I think the stats on the car are very impressive for a car that comes with a warranty, and especially think the cold air trick with the AC is cool. That'll be out in the aftermarket for all cars very soon I bet. The rest of it is comprised of things we already have access to. I'm not sure I heard them say that the HP was at the wheel though or crank. I don't remember hearing him say at the wheel and I think he would have. 730rwhp for an M6 = 840hp at the crank I believe. Our cars may also be lighter without any weight reduction - not sure on that. I don't know though...I still laugh when I see Hellcats since the first thing that I picture is this clown I work with. I find it a lot more satisfying to execute a build than walking in and buying a finished product. I already own 2012 Dodge Charger RT and am not impressed with it or the dealer experience at all.
My wife's charger has had so many recalls and is falling apart. It's a 14 with 56,000 miles and she is starting to mention that while she likes the style she thinks it's almost as shitty as her neon was back in the day. For that reason I wouldn't want anything from the dodge lineup. Don't get me wrong they're good looking rides and this demon is a wicked machine. 3300 people will be smiling when they own one. Half will probably be tucked away in a warehouse for car collectors.

Les, I think you're right about the knuckleheads because of their inexperience factor. In my boating experience I was launching my boat and 2 teeny bopper boys pull up in a massive lifted brand new f350 and decked out boat. Rig and boat must have been 400k. They looked like they couldn't have been anymore than 13 even though they were probably 16 or 17. They damn near killed half of us out there launching as this particular boat ramp because tide changes cause your boat to walk sideways if you're not against the dock wall. If you're on the other side the strong current will push you. They fired up triple verado 350's and proceeded to almost chop all of us and our boats up.

I can only imagine daddy's money putting a few knuckleheads in a beast such as the demon just for them to act foolish launching from a red light in traffic with a factory mid 9 second car. I personally have never owned a 9 second car. The fastest I had was a heavily modified GN that ran high 10's low 11's. It felt ridiculously slow compared to the one time I went for a ride with a close friend of mine in his 9 second TSM car on the street.
