I agree, the OEMs are definitely beyond my expectations. The only thing is here in Pacific Northwest we also see a lot of rainy days (not much rainfall but the amount of wet/damp days) I have been quite happy with the PSS tires iwith all my cars and they say the new PS4S is even better for wet and dry. Depends on how much life I get out of these OEMs I might get another set, I'll see.

Another reason is the cost, those PS4S will (if not tracked) last forever when providing a great ride and wet traction so I can use the funds towards the better and long lasting track compound tires. The same reason I never use street pads on the track. I am just too tired of dealing with performance compromises at the track and need to change them after 2-3 events.
