There's no reason that an after-the-fact NPP exhaust needs to be 100% identical to the factory's version. No need to involve a computer at all here.

Why would it be so hard to add all the parts that actuate the valves in the mufflers and leave the actuation as simple as a switch added somewhere within easy reach? You'd even be able to have quiet start-ups, for those who need to leave home at times when most people are sleeping or who live in areas where the neighbors are unusually sensitive/picky about such things.

Be a hotrodder and think just a little outside the OE box.
