FWIW - I have the RPI splash shields ( very similar design to the ZL Addons). They re- use the push pin on the fender liner to fasten the bottom which works fine. For the top they have a metal clip that slides over the inside edge of the fender lip and the splash shield. I am not impressed with this clip at all. It isn't a very solid connection. The clips tended to cut into the splash shield and leave marks after I had to readjust them a couple of times after the clips slid out of position. I took the clips off and used 3M tape instead and am much happier with the result. The tape is holding great.
