It was really simple....
Just go to your dealer and have them activate the onstar for your car. They will tell you that they cannot do that unless the car is at the dealership. Tell them that yes you can and that you will set it up yourself, you just need them to activate the onstar. Once they do that then you just install the app on your phone. I installed Onstar and Mychevrolet then logged in. At first the app could not find the car then I logged out of both apps and logged back in a there it was.... If you search the forums there are two major threads on how to do this. Hope this helps... good luck
My dealer said they could not do it, until I showed them post of guys doing it on the forum...
