In the summer here they are HOT as well. My one and only black car the AC ran full blast all summer despite great quality tint and a sunshade.
Looked great clean though.
To the OP most of the things you mentioned are standard in the 2ss. Sounds like its got NPP and MRC as optional stuff (which is great). I would try to get the cars story. It might be as simple as someone found out they got a baby coming.
