I have heard of people doing this. I read a few articles about it as well. I believe East Coast Supercharging used to offer corvette kits with a similar option. I have been thinking about doing this with a larger head unit like an F1 with the intent of limiting the boost like a turbo while we all wait for more viable options in the fuel department.
