It is at the rear of the transmission, where the cross-member goes across the car and bolt's to the tailshaft. I was very surprised at how hefty the cross-member is on the Camaro, it is a solid design for sure.
I have used the outer points where the front cradle bolt in as well, but my jack put a dent in the cradle because the platform head on it is pretty big. Now I use a small 2x4 if I am going to lift there but it only gets 1 side of the car at a time. The new lifting pads I got will solve that though.
