It sounds like dealership service is still unsatisfactory in many cases. My dealership, on the other hand, are highly qualified and motivated to provide top notch service for my cars. I even take my Ford Edge to them for service...lol. However, no matter how good you think your dealership is, the prudent performance car owner will double check every service visit. GM should give you a great trade-in on a brand new Camaro...period!
