The service advisor called me this evening asking me to come in tomorrow to talk to the mechanic who is doing the repair. Sounds like they already have it all torn down, he just wants to go over with me everything they're going to repair/replace. He wouldn't give me too many specifics over the phone, but did mention a lot of things were going to be replaced new and that there was a good bit of oil in my air intake that they're going to have to replace as well.
The transmission acting funny is a little worrying to me too so I'll be asking about that. Right now they have me in a fully loaded Chevy Cruze loaner, nice to have a car that runs, but definitely missing my Camaro.
