To the OP and everyone else,

I just want to address the PCV adapter. It is a plastic part that requires very little force to make it snug in the port that it needs to thread into. Our engineer is coming up with a torque spec for everyone to follow so there is less confusion on how to tighten this adapter down.

This is a pretty complex part that could only really be made with a glass-reinforced plastic injected mold, but it is by no means a weak part. It is very strong, but you do have to be careful with it when tightening it down. Just be sure that the part is threaded snugly inside the port. Once it's snug, you don't have to try tightening it anymore, after ensuring that process is done properly, you won't have any issues!

Let me know if you guys have any further comments, questions or concerns.

@smithb, if you contacted our Customer Service team, one of the reps should get back to you very soon - if they haven't already. Be sure to let me know if I can help you out in any other way.
