I'm not sure this will be of much help, but... for the last couple years - just over 10,000 miles - I've been running a set of 245/50R19 Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500s on my 2010 1LT. Treadwear is good, road noise is an improvement over the OEM all-seasons the car came with, grip is certainly better, and they look good!
These have been my first set of summer-only tires, so I can't say they're better or worse than something else. I've also never tracked the thing, so no clue how they perform at the limit if that's your thing. And of course, especially compared to last generation's V6, the sixth gen 1SS is a completely different experience, no doubt asking far more of a tire than mine could ever dream of.
Still, when my 2017 2SS shows up I would probably consider buying Indy 500s again, especially if the OEM run-flats really bother me.
