I can't get this wheel/tire combo to spin if I had to. Brake stalling loses me about a tenth in the 60ft. I am heading back to the track Sunday on E with as little tire pressure as I can run to shrink the tires as much as possible. MPH be damned. It is all about ET right now.
Everyone I know that is fast is locking the converter as early as humanly possible. The A8 has that ability in 1st. I am messing with locking and not locking it in 1st but you need to have it locked up as soon as you hit second. After the launch, tq multiplication doesn't exist anymore. That thing needs to be straight 1:1.
Why am I trying to help you out. LOL. You are going to beat me to the 10's.

I've had the best luck stalling to around 2500 before launching. Haven't tried off idle with e85 yet though. I tried locking the converter in 2nd and it helped mph but hurt et. Again I haven't messed with it since switching to E. The only shift point I changed was first. Stock was shifting at around 5500 and I brought it up a little. I'll try locking the converter in 2nd next time I'm at the track.
I'll take any other advice you are willing to give out! It's greatly appreciated! Considering the weather we are experiencing in Kentucky right now, I won't see a 10 second slip for a while haha.
