I was fortunate to have access to a lift to do the job. I did use a trans jack to hold it up. I also removed a small "brace under the brace" as well to have a clear, unobstructed path of the drain plug. Be careful as there is this kind of sharp plate of thin metal underneath those braces and you can cut your fingers on it. Also, the tranny fluid shoots out of that drain hole, so have your drain pan ready to go. I used pretty close to the whole four quarts on the refill, using a Harbor Frieght transfer pump.  |
