If we had turbo's that could benefit from cooling ...maybe....or if we had an intake that took air from hood vents ...then maybe. Just for looks? no. might as well use the stick ons if that's your goal. You'll get the same reaction from anyone who cares enough to look.

you would be floored at how much heat leaves the engine bay with these.
There is also an option for a tray inside them to help funnel the rain out.
No water gets in when you're moving...parked is another story, but it's not going to ruin anything. I leave the engine cover on.
But, again, your car, your call. I had heat issues and needed to let some air out. These vents do the trick in spades. They also claimed to improve handling at high speeds. I figured that was just a BS claim, but I'll be damned if at 125-130+ this front end feels way better than it did before.
Either way, to each their own. I was just putting up my experience in my 5th gen...
