you would be floored at how much heat leaves the engine bay with these.

There is also an option for a tray inside them to help funnel the rain out.

No water gets in when you're moving...parked is another story, but it's not going to ruin anything. I leave the engine cover on.

But, again, your car, your call. I had heat issues and needed to let some air out. These vents do the trick in spades. They also claimed to improve handling at high speeds. I figured that was just a BS claim, but I'll be damned if at 125-130+ this front end feels way better than it did before.

Either way, to each their own. I was just putting up my experience in my 5th gen...
