These are milled here in the US with high quality material and not a mass produced threaded knob.
The one you're looking at is a modular knob, so of course it will run more money. They also have a "custom" shop where you can select more colors, finishes, etc.

Like I said above a generic threaded knob will not work on our cars. You will not be able to use any brand name knobs that haven't developed an adapter for the car or a model specific shaft that screws into the OEM placement.
Let me know how much that name brand Hurst shift knob is all said and done...
