Convertible capacity for a vacation?

Hello everyone,

First post here on the Forum. I know questions like this have been asked all over the Internet but I wanted to get more focused answers given my particular specifications.

I don't have a Camaro but I have one reserved for a trip to Florida in a few months (convertible). I'm concerned that everyone in my family will fit.

There's me (5'11"; will be driving), my wife (5'8"), and my two sons (6'4" and 5'10"). My thought was to have me driving and the taller son in the front but just move the seats up as much as possible, with the other son behind me and my wife behind the taller boy.

We also will have one smaller suitcase (like a medium sized soft roller bag) and four smaller soft bags.

We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale and then driving to Key West, then from Key West up to Anna Maria Island near Sarasota. That's a 7 hour drive and where my concern is mostly at.

What do you all think? Is this doable? Driving to the Keys in a convertible is on my wife's bucket list so I'd hate to not be able to do it.

Thanks for all of your help!

Jerry
