Last time I went was on a test and tune night (Fri) wearing my motorcycle helmet (not the beany kind  )and my brother used one they had there.
He ran a best of 13.9 in his tuned ecoboost stang (lol) and my stock GT stang ran a 12.9@113. No issues with the helmets. |
They wouldn't let me run without a Snell approved helmet at Raceway Park in NJ. I even tried to use my regular DOT helmet i brought that is for my motorcycle but they were like nope. So i guess you can get away with it sometimes but that night they weren't having it lol. All i am saying is call your local strip before you head out to be on the safe side.
