Unless your car runs faster than 10's, I think you're over thinking it.
Last time I went was on a test and tune night (Fri) wearing my motorcycle helmet (not the beany kind
)and my brother used one they had there.
He ran a best of 13.9 in his tuned ecoboost stang (lol) and my stock GT stang ran a
12.9@113. No issues with the helmets.
