Also, it will halve the load presented to the amp. If you wire a 4 ohm load in parallel with another 4 ohm load you now have a 2 ohm load. Most factory amps designed to drive 4 ohm loads are not 2 ohm stable.

And actually the 2ss has bose speakers which are 2 ohm.
So final impedance of the parallel configuration would be 1.33 ohms. Guaranteed to cook the amp.
