3) Wait for the ZL1 ILE
Pro's.
Better track car. Potentially fast times. No need to change wheels as I was planning for my previously ordered car for more aggressive rubber. More limited numbers. Maybe less depreciation???
Con's:
Don't know cost. More wait. Not sure I want to go through this same GM order process for an even MORE limited car (not sure I willing to donate another kidney just to be given the grand honor of being given an allocation to spend a ton of money).
Also I have spent years driving around with coil overs and a car that touches the ground if there is a pebble on it. Today, my Touareg is faster than my GT3 on the streets because I have to slow down to almost to nothing for every pot hole in the GT3 with its lowered stance and low profile tires.
The ZL1 Triple Threat was too attractive. A car with excellent racing chops but could be still driven around. I plan track, autocross and street. I was still on the fence, but
OminouSS helped my thinking in the "ZL1 is a Great Car / The ZL1 1LE is a Special Car" thread. I should be able to hustle just fine in the non ZL1 thank you.
