I'm approaching the 1500 miles in my Z and going to do the first oil change then, I talked to my local dealership about if they'd be able to put in the Dexos 2 that is recommend for track use and they said as of January, they switched to Dexos 2 as standard for all the performance car oil changes. So guess that's what mine would get anyways.
Couple questions on this though, I plan to do occasional autocross and some track days this year, is there any reason not to leave the track oil in the car regularly? Also, the manual states to charge the brake and diff fluid prior to hitting the track, does the brake fluid need to be changed back after a track day or can the higher temp stuff stay in for regular use?
