You and I are in similar situations in how we use the car and should be close on power. Your car should be able to put down more power than mine since you did heads and went with forged pistons and rods. I'm not sure if you've ever had a car this fast or powerful before. There's no way you're going to be able to drive it safely aggressively with the stock wheels/tires, so it's a good thing you're getting something else. If you get on it it'll shred them and you could easily lose control of it.

I've only really had 1 good day so far where I could use the car in temps above 50F, but I'm not sure that 305's in back are going to be enough. I haven't been able to fully test WOT in 1st and 2nd gear yet, but I doubt a 305 street tire will be enough if you're going to be putting down over 700rwhp. And if you like to hit crazy top speeds, one little loss of traction with an imperfect wheel could be disastrous. Be careful with knock-off wheels. I'd try to at least get the real OEM 1LE's since they're from GM and really forged, or another real forged wheel and/or a set of slicks. Remember, when this car is done, you're going to be in another league with super car slaying power.
