That's true, at this point custom is prob cheapest, if they can do it all for under $500 I'd just do that, otherwise it might be cheaper to go off the shelf. The shop should be able to get you the true x-pipe in the right size if they are going to build the mid-pipe, just have them go all the way up to about 3" away from the secondary cats.

Nope, there are x-pipe kits that do delete the secondary cats, but you don't have to. there are some that leave the cats intact. you local muffler shop can hook you up with a custom one, they're fairly simple, or you can always get an aftermarket brand x-pipe. just make sure that you get a real x-pipe, not another stamped one like the stock one or the magnaflow one. |
