I think Camaro can do with a few changes, but it isn't doom and gloom. Before the 4th gen went out of production they had back to back years of 40-60k cars being built. In those years dollars, the 4th gen was a $1 Billion dollar business.

Looking at Mustang and Challenger they are not that far off from each other. Mustang has the cheapest price point and is enjoying a lead in qty of cars being sold. A 6th Gen refresh could help, but GM is in a good spot in my honest opinion and the Camaro business is making enough money to keep GM happy for now.
Totally agree. Just to add: how much cost to GM the development for the 4th gen? And for the 5th and 6th? Cross platform decrease costs and increase benefits per unit sold, so probably GM is happier with the "low numbers" for the 6th gen than for the rest.

And me too: I prefer to own a less sold car than a mass model. Just a false sentiment of exclusivity? Probably, but the happiness to know that it will be difficult to find the same car in the mall parking is a plus for me.
