There is no "designed in" constant air bleed. Who at GM said that?
This is the ac mode door not sealing.
There should never be air from defroster vents in A/C mode.
It chills the glass and causes condensation to form on the outside, inhibiting visibility.
Many Camaros do not exhibit this problem, further supporting that it is a quality control issue, not a design defect.
From owners manual-
To change the current mode, select
one or more of the following:
X : Clears the windows of fog or
moisture.
Air is directed to the
windshield and side window outlets.
Y : Air is directed to the instrument
panel outlets.
: Air is directed to the floor
outlets.
0 : Clears the windshield of fog or
frost more quickly.
Air is only
directed to the windshield and side
window outlets. The air conditioning
may turn on automatically to
remove fog.
