YES! I prefer performance models as well. I love the 1LEs' and damn, the new ZL1 seems like a crazy bargain to me. The performance you get for the money is- in my opinion- AWESOME. But we all knew performance models were coming... I guess we all get "the bug" and can't wait at times. Something has to fill that void when we know we can have a toy NOW and can't stand to wait.
I'm happy to know there are junkies out there like myself.

Well, I hope you guys get what you want and it all works out for ya. I also hope Chevy makes a new Z/28. Maybe it will knock an already low price down even further !
