There's always a certain amount of people who sell their car not long after buying it. I think that probably holds true for most cars. Maybe they realized they couldn't afford it or it was a stretch, maybe it wasn't practical enough, etc. Then of course as others have said, the ZL1 is amazing and quite tempting for those that can spend the extra money for the upgrade.
