Yes that is what I currently do (come in and out on an angle) with my Acura TL which has the A-Spec package on it. Surprisingly it is 6" off the ground where the Zl1 is 4"...yikes. That 2" is going to make a difference unfortunately.
My TL just barley clears so the Zl1 will most likely scrape. I am guessing the splitter washers will help a lot.
