Sorry the car didn't do it for you. Odd considering you had 2 prior 5.0's so you should have been used to the way the motor was.
I just switched to a scat pack Charger because I needed more room and 4 doors, but didn't want to miss out having a fun RWD high powered V8.
I do love the 8 speed vs old 6 speed, even if it was stout.
Came close to purchasing a 16/17 SS sedan. Just wish they would have thrown the LT1 in there. That and jungle green was discontinued. Loved my G8 GT and figured I couldn't go wrong with another Holden.
Looking forward to see the comparisons on the 2018 Mustang and Camaro SS, and then the future competition.

I have no doubt the 18' GT will be great as well. Regarding the two GT's I had before; both were modded, one manual (couldn't get into the mt82) and the other auto. They were good at the time and were much better than my wifes 12' SS auto camaro. I went with the S550 at the time to try the latest and greatest mustang, not realizing how great the new Camaro SS had become...
I tested the scatpack as well and loved it's strong torque and sound as well as the comfortable interior; however, It was a bit pricey and heavy/large for my taste.
I'm not planning on modding at all and that's why factory stock performance is a priority for me. The GT wasn't cutting the mustard (in stock form) and I was ready for something different anyway.
