You can't go wrong with the ALP as a jammer but it's parking sensor function is really just a way for it to mask its true purpose. Where you have to place the sensors it won't really work well as curb alert in case that mattered to you.
The magnesium case on the Valentin is just for people that drive in places where detectors are illegal to help avoid detection. It's good thing you have Android because you'll need Yavi running to filter all the false positives. Either detector will give you more than enough range - even one from 2 generations back would be serviceable.
Going back to your wheels, my point with the country is they may not be a place that abides by the same standards governing the controls over their production process. I can't remember the name of the standards but they were mentioned by a wheel manufacturer in that section of the forum. You may be fine, but if there are inconsistencies that could compromise the integrity of the wheel. I just don't know enough about them and they sound almost too good to be true. I hope they work out for you though.
Did you end up installing the rear seat delete or a roll cage?
