The edlebrock seemed pricey but they have better numbers and comes with a 3 year warranty. I've also seen people install the lt4 supercharger on the Lt1 i haven't researched this option to much but i hear if i can find someone to install it that the numbers are incredible. This is my daily driver car and i do travel in it so reliability is a must i don't really go to the track all that much but hey I've always dreamed of a zl1 so this is my budget version (i love my ss). Cost is important to me but i don't mind spending a little extra if its a big difference so far i'm leaning towards the procharger

I would do a lot of research on the ProCharger before buying anything since it's a DD. Prochargers haven't really changed much fundamentally in over 10 years. They're great bang for your buck until the seals go and those use to be proprietary parts, which means it has to go back to ProCharger. That would translate into a 3 week or more wait. It's similar to a turbo but belt driven. The hoses weren't the best quality either - but I haven't looked at a PC in a few years now. They may have improved and you may be able to find replacement parts easier. They're pretty popular with C7 guys, but I agree that a positive displacement blower is more fun to drive.
