I think if Chevy ever wanted to build a dedicated drag star...you'd see many more hp than a Corvette. It just isn't their game, though. They seem to be more interested in handling prowess.

Didn't the most recent car's chassis not pass federal safety standards or something like that? I feel like I read it wasn't really their "choice" to discontinue the Viper. |
Regardless it is/was faster than the Corvette at this point.
