So if Dodge could barely get the Hellcat to pass emissions in '14-'15, why is there any reason to believe they can squeeze more power out of it now? It's not like they are adding DI or other fuel/emissions saving tech since there have been absolutely zero rumors about any improvements with the HEMIs. The only rumors are the HEMI maybe gone for the next gen. And the emissions testing doesn't get easier each year.
I'm not saying it's not possible, but is there anything anyone has seen/read that makes a compelling case for more power? I mean Dodge has been making cuts everywhere to save money. I just don't see them having the spare cash to use on a car that sells at so small a volume. Which is exactly why a widebody kit with better rubber is an easy option for them, it's a cheap fix to improve it.
