Hello everyone. Overkill Motorsport is in the process of developing a supercharger system for the 2016+ 3.6 Camaro and this is a thread that I'll be sharing pictures starting next week of the development process, sharing details of the kit and insight into the design.
For those to whom Overkill is not familiar, my name is Will, I'm the owner and head tuner for Overkill, my company specializes in V6 performance and I'm more well known on the 5th Gen Camaro V6 boards with tuning services and originating the 80mm throttle body and flex fuel kits (both coming for the 6th gen).
A few details I can share right now on the kit are it should be very similar to our 5th Gen Camaro system shown below...
You can see the aluminum crankshaft pulley above, shown in more detail below...
That pulley delivers a dedicated 8-rib belt system to drive the supercharger and only the supercharger...
The system will use a Vortech V3 supercharger unit, our CNC aluminum mounting brackets, an air to air front mounted intercooler system with blow off valve, and will include a catch can specifically designed for this supercharger system, as well as Overkill tuning services through a handheld Autocal tuning device.
