Yah, I have a safelite windshield in my STi. It's garbage. Weird refraction where it bends around the edges. The plastic and rubber trim seals just are not quite right, partly an issue with the install work and partly the parts are just different and substandard. It does the job. I mean, it is a windshield. It's fine. But if you have the choice and if you are concerned about it being "right", which you seem to be since you posted, then seek out a more local business with an established reputation in your town, rather than a big chain with name recognition from mass advertising.

It's not to say that you can't get a good install and product from safelite. I am sure they have many happy customers, but I'm not among them in my sample of one semi-recent experience. Good luck.
