We live in rock chip hell ,with replacements WS's annually.

DO be careful regarding QUALITY of replacement glass. We learned that OEM is usually better than the bargain replacements. The cheap glass is usually softer and more susceptible to small chips that the OEM glass seems to take in stride. You WILL pay extra for OEM though.

If You get a chip DO take it to an auto glass company. many times they can fill it and that will stop it from cracking. Chips low in the WS will crack as soon as the defrost is turned on, first cold morning. If filled they usually do fine.
