So a rock hit my windshield and created a tiny chip and then the next day when I turned the heat on a cracked appeared originating from the chip.
Now, I called Safelite and they're asking for $700 to replace the windshield. I called a auto glass shop near me and they said I can buy my own windshield (from GM of couse) and they could install it for $100. My question is can I use a windshield from the 2016 camaro instead of the 2017?
The reason for that is because I found a website that charges less than the dealer, but it would be for the 2017 if I buy it from the dealer. Please advise. Thanks!
