Test Drive them both extensively. So much is subjective.
The SS has better performance metrics. The GT is generally cheaper. The challenger is bigger all around.

All 3 (Camaro, Mustang, Challenger) are good options and we should be happy to have them.

I ultimately preferred the GT over the SS. I found the performance difference negligible when considering the design and comfort aspects.

The center console buttress annoyed my leg in the SS.
I preferred the visibility in the GT.
I preferred the exterior and interior styling as well.
I enjoy hanging my arm out the window, which was impossible to do in the SS comfortably.

The sound of the SS was far superior to the GT, but I rectified that with an h-pipe and axle back.
