Running shorts are thin/lightweight and a chunky key fob in your pocket while not that big of a deal, is noticeable and not nearly as preferable has not having to carry anything.
That's the one and only reason I had for loving the keypad and not carrying anything with me. I guess surfers would probably feel the same.

I suppose there are a limited number of people that have a smart watch but it would be nice if OnStar had an app for wearables. By their ads it appears that Hyundai does.
