Over the years I've had several online discussions about the aerodynamics of a spoiler. It's always troubled me about the downforce part - in order to get the downforce, you have to create drag and drag causes inefficiencies. I cite the C7Z06 spoiler. Anyone have an another explanation for how that really works.

The spoiler on the ZL1, while not as gross as some of the Vipers, is just too big/intrusive for me.

If I were into racing, I might be concerned about the aerodynamics, but for me, a ZL1 is just a good way to get on the freeway - like my ZR1 (which I'm keeping). LOL..
