We are consumers. We buy things and would like to know some things about them before we purchase. That is why MT, C&D exist to provide info to us the consumer. We want to know how one lawnmower performs to another. They don't let people modify them before a test. As consumers we want to know what the product does from the factory. Then we can make a decision what to buy based on from the factory and what we might change to suit us, like upgrading a computer. So you wanting to change the rules to cover the fat cats tire failure is ridiculous.
