And the comments about a roll race removing a lot of variables is just as true as stating a roll race introduces a lot of variables. And who says traction isn't an issue from a roll? How can we confirm both cars are traveling at the exact same speed when they takeoff? By comparison to a dig, how can we confirm that both cars are even at the "line"? How many more variables should we discuss? It think it is widely accepted that two cars on the same course or strip in this case, is the most accurate metric for comparing them.
