Did you need to pay surgeon fees when no surgery occurred? No. Do you have some other means to get the pill? No.
I think a better anology would be maybe Paying for sex but the hooker throws you a fleshlight and walks out of the room with your money to deal with other clients. Plus it's not even a clean fleshlight.
