looked at the 16s,but i liked the 5th gens better.slightly more comfortable interior,and im an older guy who doesnt race as much as i use to.found a certified used 2015 RS and took it home for 23k with 8,000 miles on it and remainder of factory warrantee.2012s-13s were only 2-3 k cheaper with no warrantee so for me this was a no brainer.i drove a 2016 loaner for about 4 days,best way to compare is the 2016 is more vette-like while the 5th gen is old school muscle.i should add the 2016 i drove was a base car while mine has every option but the v-8.having driven the old school v-8 hotrods i wanted better mileage this time.
