23 years old, entry level engineering job in the defense industry. Make $66k/yr, paid about 41-42k for my 2SS... I honestly don't remember what the final price was, but after taxes, trade-in, and down payment, I am financing $36k. Financed for 5 yrs with a monthly payment of about $630/month. Insurance is $100/month. I had no prior debt -- my parents paid for my previous car which I traded in for $5k, and they also paid for my college (in-state tuition to a public school plus scholarship, so very cheap relatively speaking). So, take that for what you will. Figured I'd share my story for reference.
