I don't think the NAs need huge converters, 2500-3000 should be plenty. Too much looses mph down track unless you just run 1/8 mile a lot. If you start getting real nasty off the line you might want to think about slicks so it doesn't shock the drive train as much as the drag radial does, you'll have less parts breakage as I've found out with my Vet and a few other cars.
